The online-only biannual journal had been published by the Faculty of Arts Press, Charles University, from 2010 until 2022. It focused on the theory and practice of social work, social policy and related disciplines.
Since 2015 Social Work Forum is an Open Access journal with online content freely available to the readers under the CC BY-NC-ND 2.0 license. Full articles since 2015 until 2022 are available on the internet to all readers and their further non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited.
The SWF is indexed in SocIndex EBSCO.
